61 People Screened, 2 Important Findings – Project Sunkalp at L. Endathur PHC!
Early detection begins with awareness, and every screening brings us closer to healthier communities!
On 31st October 2026, Kalpavriksham Trust, through Project Sunkalp, conducted a cancer screening camp at L. Endathur Primary Health Centre (PHC), Madurantakam, promoting preventive healthcare and early detection.
A total of 61 beneficiaries, including 9 men and 52 women, participated in the camp.
Screening Highlights:
47 iBreast Examinations
61 Oral Examinations
29 Pap Smear Tests
2 Positive Gynaecological Screening Findings
The two positive screening findings highlight the importance of further medical evaluation and timely follow-up. Positive screening results do not necessarily confirm cancer but require appropriate medical assessment.
Through Project Sunkalp, Kalpavriksham Trust continues to bring essential cancer screening services closer to rural communities, encouraging awareness, prevention, and timely medical care.
Together, let's make early detection accessible to every community!
